Hi Elena,
My company's web site provides that information along with price history, square footage analysis, and side by side property comparisons. School reports, mapping, and sold property information is there as well.

If you'd like to explore the South Shore, I'd be happy to help you with that. Hingham is a popular town for relocating buyers because of its proximity to Boston. Boston is accessible by mutiple modes of public transit including commuter rail, high speed ferry, and bus. It's a historic town with beautiful antique homes and newer construction, great schools, and a walkable downtown area.
Norwell and Cohasett are more rural, but also have great schools and good access to Boston. Farther south, Duxbury has great beaches, schools, and open space. But like Norwell and Cohasset, not so walkable unless you consider walking trails in preserved open space!
If you'd like to learn more about this area please contact me. It's where I live and work, and it offers some of the best housing values in eastern massachusetts for anyone who wants to live near the ocean. If you'd like a report comparing two communities and their school systems, send me an email with the two towns and I'll prepare a report for you.
Welcome to Massachusetts! You are going to love it here!

Question for Mike. (Sorry to jump on your post Ryan!)
Mike,
You are an excellent resource here and always helpful in your responses. Do appraisers have a "standard" that they must follow in determining whether a room is a bedroom? I have an antique listing in Marshfield that has two bedrooms with no closets. The appraisal the seller gave me includes these two rooms as bedrooms. But you say that without closets they are not bedrooms. Is it possible two different appraisers could come up with a different bedroom count for the same property?
Thanks for your help!

Hi Ryan,
Melissa pretty much covered it. If you'd like to email me directly with the address I will send you the public record for the property. However, the public record isn't always correct so you should verify it with the town. I work and live in Marshfield if I can be of any help.

This site, Trulia.com has some great trending data. Our company's site, Raveis.com has a local housing data link that allows you to generate reports for specific towns and cities. Follow the link below and select the state and town you wish to investigate. Then select the various tabs to see the different reports. You can see how a town/city compares to the county and state. - Sun Jun 22 2008, 20:54
Sump pumps are common in a number of towns south of Boston. Currently in Hanover and Norwell there are 180 single family listings in the MLS. 29 of these listings indicate that they have a sump pump.
There are 30 Single Family MLS listings in South Boston, and none of them indicate that they have a sump pump.
Good luck,
