Why could this house be so cheap with the amount of land??

Jessica Beganski answered:
Shawn,

This home has sold already. Although I can't say for sure, the home looked to be in poor condition and was priced to sell very quickly. - Fri Sep 19 2008, 06:10

I noticed a property in Lebanon, CT but I think it's overpriced,

Jessica Beganski answered:
Firsttimebuyer,

In lieu or in addition to working with a realtor to help you determine a price, I suggest you use my Free CMA form on my website at http://ctrealestateunleashed.com/sell-your-home-ct/free-comp…

I can get back to you within about 24 hours in most cases. - Wed Sep 17 2008, 10:10

Considering job transfer to CT

Jessica Beganski answered:
I suggest the following areas:

Southington
West Hartford
Berlin/Kensington
Guilford (although this may be out of your price range, depending on what size home you're looking for) - Mon Sep 15 2008, 05:45
Jessica Beganski answered:
Unfortunately with a short sale, the listing price has nothing to do with what the bank is willing to accept. Before approving the sale, the bank orders its own appraiser and if the appraiser says it's worth $186,000, then that's what they're willing to accept. A few things may alter this - how long the property has been on the market, the agent's input, the input of a short sale specialist, the situation of the homebuyers and the bank. - Thu Sep 4 2008, 09:28
Jessica Beganski answered:
I haven't seen too many lease options in CT so you may have to settle for renting a home. But before you make that decision, I suggest you talk with a mortgage lender - try McCue Mortgage. They may be able to recommend a program for you. Or try your town - sometimes towns have down payment programs if you buy in a particular area. Not sure how bad your credit is but a lender can run your credit report to check for sure. - Tue Aug 19 2008, 10:20
