Mubi,
recently about 80-90% of my transactions were with foreign national buyers. anyone who wishes to buy a propoerty in the US is more than wellcome only that these days the banks are asking them to put a bigger downpayment than before, 40-50% of the purchase price. Then they're required to provide supporting documentation for their income and assets until the bank issues the commitment letter. working visa, investor visa or any immigration status change is being done only when you create jobs in the US through investing and not through buying a property.
hope it helped answer your questions.
