why can't I find sales statistics for agents anywhere?

CindyH answered:
You may want to try a websitehttp:// www.homethinking.com. They have started the process of reporting agent sales although some of their data needs updating more often. Hope this helps! - Sat Apr 19 2008, 13:39

Hi Nimi,

Both areas are great places to live. I would write out what you like for each area and see which one more closely fits your criteria. I have been in Franklin for over 22 years and have seen this area blossom into a vibrant community. I work with many buyers that are first time homeowners and new people to the area for job relocation. Feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance. - Sat Apr 12 2008, 09:02

In Tennessee, it is never set in stone. It would depend on what kind of agent and services you are looking for. For instance, a full service REALTOR would be able to offer more services for a percentage of the home's sale amount. If you list it with, say, a 6% commission, it would be six percent of the sales price of the home, not the original amount it was listed for. The commission will vary and no one is 100% sure of what the end sales price will be. I would highly recommend interviewing several REALTORS in your area to see how they compare in the marketing and advertising arenas, marketability and available resources they are a part of before listing your home. - Wed Jan 16 2008, 14:54
