I would consider $800,000 the start of the "high end" in Minneapolis. The most expencive homes in Minneapolis proper are clustered around the City Lakes, Harriet, Calhoun and Isles, and also include the highend condo market downtown. There are many homes currently for sale from $1-1.4 million but the field narrows from there. Edina and suburbs farther west i.e. Minnetonka, Wayzatta have more quantity at and above this range.
