I dont know the laws in NY or FL well but I would think if you buy before your divorce is final your spouse would be entiled to part of your new property. I would say wait. - Wed May 7 2008, 07:46
If you are in the market to buy there and would consider a pre owned unit it may be a good deal for you to buy one of those foreclosures, if you want to buy a new unit and are going to own it for a while you should be fairly safe. In coon rapids you will basically be able to visually see where you would want to live and where you wouldnt. There are some worn down areas and some very nice ones. Overall the market there has been hit like most other ones. Coon Rapids has some nice advantages though with the main mall being really nice and there are lots of parks. - Tue May 6 2008, 16:59
You could go the the county and figure out what bank is the owner of it now; call them and ask for the REO department and hopefully they can tell what broker will be assigned to list the house. Sometimes but not very often they will deal directly with the potential buyer if it has not yet been assigned to an agent. Good luck. - Sun May 4 2008, 19:37
