Who are good lenders in this area?

Kristen O'Donnell answered:
There are numerous good lenders in this area. I like NorthCoast and CitiGroup best. I have found most of the lenders that end with .com to be very difficult to deal with. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51

Is crime an issue in Mill Valley?

Kristen O'Donnell answered:
Mill Valley has one of the lowest crime rates in the nation. For a town so close to a major city such as San Francisco, we are blessed to have a crime rate far lower than other communities is such proximity to a major metropolitan area. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51

Is Mill Valley good for families with children?

Kristen O'Donnell answered:
Mill Valley is an amazing place to raise a family. With excellent schools, health care, numerous parks, and mild year round weather, with over 70% of the land in the county as dedicated open space, there is always plenty to do. San Francisco and the Bay Area is a very intelligent, sophisticated community, and there are always events happening. The diversity of the region helps us grow very well rounded children. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
Kristen O'Donnell answered:
We have great access to fresh local produce. When I travel to other parts of the country, you can really see a difference in the quality of our goods. We have fabulous farmer's markets, and lots of variety, including organic products. Because the Bay Area is so innovative, we also have access to lesser known quality products and goods. We also have incredible art galleries, clothing stores including major worldwide couture designers from the world's best fashion houses, museums, great coffee and incredible restaurants that rival NYC. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
Kristen O'Donnell answered:
There are numerous neighborhood parks and recreational facilities in Mill Valley. But the community center and community fields along the waterfront are personal favorites. You can jog or bike along the bay front trail, even horseback ride, kayak right from the public boat launch, take in soccer or ball games, there is a skateboarding park, basketball courts, and the county's best dog park. Along the bay front, you can bike into San Francisco, or jog for miles. It's incredible. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
