Emily, the answer to your question depends on a lot of factors not the least of which is the part of Nashville in which you work. If your work is in west Nashville or central Nashville, you might seriously consider the Fairview area in Williamson County. You would have access to I-40 or Hwy 100 to get into Nashville. Your husband gets to Franklin via Hwy 96. Eventually, you both would be able to use the new Hwy 840 connector.
But why Fairview?
1. It is in Williamson County and has access to the excellent school system of Williamson County. Additionally, because of the small town community spirit , education is enhanced significally by community envolvement.
2. Building development has been slowed by the lack of sufficient intrastructure especially water resources. That has recently been resolved and will result in the same level of development we have seen in Franklin, Spring Hill, etc If the past is prolog to the future, development will result in increasing home values.
3. The HWY 840 connector to Franklin and I-65 will bring additional development as well as additional access to Nashville, Franklin and Cool Springs.
4. Home Buyers have not discovered Fairview yet. To many, it is a sleepy little country town. They do not see the future growth. As a result of this lack of vision by most home buyers, home prices are relatively low. As compared to the rest of Williamson County, cost per square foot is low. In other words, you can get the most for your money in Fairview.
Good luck,

Frankly, as simple as it may sound, the best system is the system that gives you the results you want as quick as possible. Many buyers want to search by using a mapping system to show all the homes in a geographic area. We use the mapping capabilities available through WolfNet Technology.
Some prefer to use a search tool that allows them to search by sub divisions so they can zero in on specific communities. All search tools should allow the buyer to identify a search criteria and then be notified by email when new listing appear which meet their criteria. - Thu Jul 19 2007, 20:36
