About Me

As a homeowner, a wife and a mother of three sons (two being twins), any client will be assured they are working with a Realtor® who knows and understands the importance of family and homeownership. As a native of Atlanta, a real estate investor, and being part of the growth and changes that has made Atlanta the real estate mecca it has become today, any client will be assured they are working with a Realtor® very familiar and knowledgeable of the Metro Atlanta area.

A combined 20 years of experience in banking & finance, retirement plans, customer service and project management; in addition to my personal success as a real estate investor, adequately enabled me to become Agent of the Month the first 30 days of becoming a Realtor® in 2005. In August 2007 I aligned myself with Keller Williams Realty, the 4th largest real estate company in the country. Transferring to Keller Williams Realty; consecutively being awarded Agent of the Month within the first 30 days of being with a company; achieving the award of the 2007 Keller Williams Realty Grand South Shooting Star; among January-July 2008 KWGS top 12 agents; forming a partnership with one of KWGS top producing agents; and having a team of professional and knowledgeable Realtors® has made it second nature to offer productive professionalism to any client.

Since becoming a Realtor®, I have expanded my real estate services to homeowners, renters, landlords, lenders and investors in many states including California, Florida, Massachusettes and New York. State-to-state market exposure adds a tremendous amount of expertise that cannot be found in real estate agents in Atlanta, GA. Hi Tricia,
Each state has their own laws on the eviction process. What I can tell you is the bank in not in the business of homeownership, yet along property management and leasing. Georgia is a non-judicial state, which means the foreclosure attorney does not have to go to court to have you evicited.

Casing point: A few months ago an apartment complex was on the news with tenants, rightfully so, being extremely upset that they paid their rent every month and still received notice that the Owner's were in foreclosure and they will have to be out by a certain time frame.

I would take this as, the bank probably isn't concerned with your lease you signed with the owner who is in foreclosure and will continue to foreclose on the property.

Hi Paula,
I was born and raised in Georgia. I went to elementary, high school and college in Decatur. I have a sister that lives in Lithonia and she loves it. Needless to say, I have nothing but positive information to offer.

For your teenage daughters, Martin Luther King, Jr High School is one of the better high schools Lithonia has to offer. Panola Rd is one of the main streets in Lithonia that connects you to mall shopping, restaurants, grocery & department stores, gas stations, church's, schools, etc. Lithonia is about 20-30 minutes east of Downtown Atlanta. FYI, most of the suburb living is a 30-45 minute commute. Some a lot longer.

In short, Lithonia is just like any other city. It has it's positive and it's negative.
