I am proud to say that I reside here in the SF Bay Area with my wife and our son. We love Marin, from the beautiful coast of the Headlands to the top of Mount Tam, out to Point Reyes, and beyond. We came to San Francisco years ago and fell in love with all of its year round offerings. When I am not hiking with my family or on my own, you will see me on my mountain bike ALL over Marin. I am here to answer any questions you may have about Real Estate, Marin County, or San Francisco. Let me know how I can help.
I have dedicated over fifteen years to customer service and pride myself on not only meeting your expectations, but exceeding them. I was an accomplished Chef prior to my career in Real Estate and bring sincere dedication, attention to detail, and organization to everything I do. I am proud to have received Rookie of the Year my first year in real estate and Star of the Future my second. I truly enjoy helping people fulfill their Real Estate goals. I am backed by all the resources that Coldwell Banker has to offer, including over 100 in-office agents with a wealth of experience.
I look forward to working with you!

I would say overall crime is not an issue in San Anselmo. Violent crime is somewhat non-existent. The answer from Kim touches on the few "crimes" we see here. I believe this site to be a great REAL ESTATE tool, and not a parenting review column.
There is literally not a single street I have been on in San Anselmo where I have felt unsafe.
I have seen crimes of immaturity. The only time I have been victimized, some one lipsticked my car while parked on the street. I am not sure how old they were though. - Sun Jul 13 2008, 09:58
The simple answer is yes, San Anselmo is an ideal place to raise children.
Let's break down your typical day. In the morning, there are some great local options on San Anselmo Ave for breakfast, coffee, tea, or bagels. From there, you have a number of good walking streets that can lead you to a number of parks, creeks, or trails. San Anselmo also has a number of great lunch spots or shops for afternoon shopping. There are generally enough kids around that your child can find a playmate. You have movies in the park in the summer time, which is a great for kids and parents. There also a number of street festivals in San Anselmo.
You are also a close commute to so many other great towns: neighboring San Rafael and Farifax, beautiful drive West to Pt. Reyes, camping just 15 minutes from downtown San Anselmo, and so much more. I would encourage spending a couple of days in San Anselmo to experience it for yourself. - Tue Jul 8 2008, 08:42
All of these answers are accurate. Mornings are fine, if you leave before 7:35 or after 9:30. Evenings on Sir Francis Drake can be slow, but you can also sneak through Ross via Kent Ave or Laurel Grove. These options are not a whole lot faster, but they can keep you moving.
The bike path is a great commuting path. This runs through the heart of San Anselmo, and heading east can take you directly to the ferry terminal in Larkspur or south across the Golden Gate Bridge.
The more adventorous can head over Mount Tam on bike, horse or foot. - Tue Jul 8 2008, 08:26
Outstanding.
That is my one word answer. Gary pretty much summed up the Music scene in Fairfax. There is a thriving outdoor community here and the trails are a common meeting place. Yes, there is a great Farmer's market, as well as a number of other fairs and/or festivals. The great majority of Fairfax residents enjoy a good time, and a good time seems easy to find here. - Mon Jul 7 2008, 16:26
Dogs are welcome all over Marin, and Fairfax is no exception.
Whay type of running do you like?
There is multi-use path that allows you to run from Fairfax into Sausalito and over the GG Bridge. There is also a virtually endless network of trails if trail running or hiking is your thing. There is a strong outdoor community in Farirfax, and some great bars and restaurants to finish off the workout. - Tue May 20 2008, 12:06
