Credit reporting agencies in this day and age expect the American consumer to shop around. Multiple hits on your credit report for the same transaction inquiry in a 30 period of time are no more negative than a single hit. Such as new car purchase, or mortgage loan.

Don't be suprised if a loan company which has already approved you, runs your credit again prior to closing to validate that you didn't go on a spending spree.

Michigan rates may be different than Washington state. And every situation can affect costs. With mobile homes, in a park, average commission is 10%. When it comes with land generally 6%. Are you looking for a target price on a specific home. To Michelle's point, I'm not sure about the relevance. Every home can have unique characteristics affecting the value. And with the current market, historicals need to be real recent for accuracy. - Sun Apr 6 2008, 22:17
