Hi June,
While you may see one or two offered at this price, they are offered at an artificially low price to set up a bidding war, which leaves most buyers high and dry. As I see it, you have 3 choices:
1. Lower your expectations a bit - consider older and/or smaller homes if you are locked into San Ramon
2. Widen your search area - what you're asking for is definitely doable in Livermore, for example
3. Wait the market out and hope it drops more. I'm not as convinced as others that prices will go up rather than down in the next year - it depends on a number of factors (economy, employment, interest rates, etc) that NO ONE knows for sure what will happen.
It really boils down to how motivated you are to buy. If you are planning to be in the home for at least 5 years, it might make sense to take the plunge now.
