Elizabeth from what I have read, I don't think the plan helps anyone who has already gone into foreclosure. FHASecure helps people who are behind on their payments refinance their adjustable rate loans into more affordable loans with lower payments. - Thu Aug 7 2008, 17:52

Just because a home is priced at a certain amount does not mean you have to offer that. There are a lot of foreclosures coming on the market. I have some information at home about the program but I am currently out of town this week, but you can get the information at the court house in Florence at the city offices. You can also check out this website

to see if you qualify for the SC Housing Program Down Payment Plan. As best as I can remember the one in Florence is only for certain areas and you have to qualify financially for assistance.
