There are plenty of jobs here on the Outer Banks to be had for a hard working individual. The problem is that are not many professional occupations. We do not have many salary type positions as most of the work is geared to the real estate, food service, retail, and construction business. If you can give me an idea of what you are looking for I will be happy to point you in the right direction. As for moving here I would be happy to show you around when you come down to visit the area and give you my take on the area. I made the move to the Outer Banks 6 yrs ago, to Colington Harbour to be exact, an have sinced lived in Kill Devil Hills and now Kitty Hawk. This is a special place to live, it's not like living any where else.
Feel free to contact me and I will happy to send you some listings so you can see what the houses are selling for. When you come down we can go check out a few in person. I can also put in touch with a local lender that can walk you thru the loan process to get you qualifed as well.
