How do I find a good buyer agent in Seattle?

Robert Luecke answered:
Search the Realtor.com website and hit the search engines. You should be able to find some comments on companies and agents. - Sun Jun 15 2008, 19:01

I'm a young professional looking to buy my first home.

Robert Luecke answered:
If your main concern is making money when you sell in a couple years, buy single family rather than a condo. If you can spend $330k you can find something.
In my opionion Light Rail will not have a big impact on prices in 2 years. - Wed Jun 11 2008, 21:17
Robert Luecke answered:
Your agent can do a search for you and provide you with a list. I am not sure where to get one unless you have access to the MLS. It also makes sense to provide a little more information, age of home, how big and so on. It is a pretty easy search to generate. - Tue May 27 2008, 19:39

How do I find a trustworthy agent to deal with?

Robert Luecke answered:
This is a good place to start. Look at the home pages of the Realtors on Trulia. - Wed May 14 2008, 13:45
Robert Luecke answered:
I personally buy foreclosures as well as buy them for customers. It is a tremendous amount of work to find a good piece of property and when you do you will be in competition with other investors, some who are as smart as you are.
I agree with not limiting yourself to just foreclosures, but I would at least look at them alongside the other inventory out there. - Tue May 6 2008, 20:33
