My name is Scott Lander and I was born in Kingman, Az. I started playing golf at the age of six at Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course. Since my father owned a roofing company, he gave me a choice to do roofing or practice golf. I chose the second option. I played golf all the way through high school and won the Arizona State High School Championship twice. Through the hard work I received a scholarship to University of Nevada Las Vegas . I had the honor in college of winning the NCAA National Championships in 1998 as a team. Our team also got to play golf with President Clinton in Washington DC the same year. During college I caddied at Steve Wynn's famous golf course, Shadow Creek. I graduated from UNLV in 2001 in Communications and went on to get sponsorship to play professional golf. During my senior year in college I married my wife Jamie and three years later had my first child Brooke. I played professional golf for three years and never made it to the PGA tour so I decided to take another direction.
Real estate always interested me so I decided to invest in some property with my dad in the Kingman market. As I began to invest I became more interested and wanted to begin selling real estate for a living. I now work for Remax Prestige Properties in Kingman, AZ and would not consider working for anyone else.
I have grown up with a construction background. My dad has owned A-2-Z Roofing in Kingman for 35 years. I have strong roots in Kingman and love doing business with the local people here. My hope for Kingman is that it grows with quality not quantity. We have unlimited potential here with great water aquifers, climate, and location. I look forward to seeing the town grow and change.
I have worked hard throughout my life in golf, school, and construction. Now that my career has changed I will not stop working hard for you in real estate. If you are considering buying or selling a home or would just like to have additional information about real estate in your area, please don't hesitate to call or e-mail me.
