I too live in Colington Harbour. I moved here 8 years ago and it is a great community atmosphere. In terms of employment I would contact the local Dare County Governments, check our local papers - The Coastland Times and The Sentinel as well as the Outer Banks section of http://www.craigslist.com. I would be happy to email you the details for the local government agencies. I can also set you up with a home search through our OBX MLS system which will email you directly as soon as a new listing appears according to your critirea. Good Luck with the job search!
