Is it legal? All this is in conflict with federal laws; cannabis is a Schedule I drug according to the Controlled Substances Act. Multiple efforts to reschedule cannabis under the Act have failed, and the United States Supreme Court has ruled in United States v. Oakland Cannabis Buyers' Coop and Gonzales v. Raich that the federal government has a right to regulate and criminalize cannabis, even for medical purposes. I'm not for or against the medical use of this schedule1 drug. Just as Realtor's and citizens we have strict laws to follow, this being just one of them. Maybe you should check at your medical dispenser if they have any occupancy's available? - Tue May 22, 2012
