I take pride in being one of the most dedicated and committed Realtors in the nation. At the end of the day, I know I am the best Realtor, husband, father, friend and person I can be. My success in real estate is derived from many repeat clients and those clients referring their family, friends, co-workers and acquaintances to me, to help them with all their real estate needs. This is all supported by my beliefs in:
- being competent in my skills and knowledge
- treating people like I wish to be treated
- treating others fairly and without bias
- putting my clients interests before my own
- taking personal responsibility for my actions
I have been a Joshua Tree resident since 2002, by way of San Diego and the San Francisco area. I bought my first home and started my family here in Joshua Tree, which will always hold a special place in my heart. My wife Megan works as a Registered Nurse (RN) at the Hi-Desert, which is where we enjoyed our proudest moment of having our son, Ian, in 2007. Our family is rounded out with our Labrador retriever mix, Guinness and the cat, Sammy.
I have a variety of experience, prior to my real estate career that laid the foundation to my success in real estate. While in San Diego I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business (Accounting) degree, and served 8 years in the US Navy flying in S-3 Viking aircraft. While serving in the military, I visited many ports of call the world over, which inspired my interest in photography and traveling. After leaving military service, I worked for two Fortune 500 companies, in sales and account management, fine tuning my skills and knowledge in providing top notch service to my clients.
If you are looking for Knowledge, Experience, Professionalism, Integrity, and Personal Service in a Realtor, I have them all.

I totally agree with the previous answers.
A great way to generate leads ... develop a good content oriented website, then sign up for Google Adwords (Pay per Click). You can set your monthly budget. Work you keywords for those that people are searching in your area, and keep track of the keywords that work and don't work.
I get a large portion of my business from this, and it is on of the few advertising routes you can quantify. I have to admit though, it would get more expensive in the larger areas. It is amazing how few people take advantage of this route.
Once you get higher in the search ranking you can stop it if you wish. In fact, you can pause the campaign anytime. - Wed Jul 9 2008, 08:58
This may not be what you want to hear, but a Realtor probably isn't your best bet to answer your question. I would refer this to a attorney. I would imagine it is going to involve some type of mutual agreement or court resolution.
Unless it is a mutual agreement I you'll probably have a hard time getting this resolved in time to do a short sale. - Tue Jul 8 2008, 09:56
Tyrra ... I used a USDA loan to buy my first house when I moved up here to Joshua Tree. It is a really good program. Here are the basics and feel free to contact me if you want to know more or have questions. It is a rural area gov't backed loan. It will pay up to 6% of your closing costs (106% loan: one of the few left). Competitive interest rates. You can not currently own a house, but you can have previously owned a house. The income limit is some where around $46,000/yr for a single person, but higher for married.
Susan King has done the most of them in CA for the last several years. She is very good! Let me know, and I can give you her contact info, if you need it.

In our area it is very common for out of area Realtors to take a local listing, then not put it in our local MLS. Hence we have clients either seeing a sign or finding it in an online search. So I usually find the Realtor on Realtor.com, and call the agent directly. - Mon Jun 30 2008, 10:59
See if it is on Realtor.com ... that should give you the agents number. - Wed Jun 25 2008, 21:39
My area of expertise include most areas of residential and investment real estate. Including military (PCS) transfers, relocations, REO/short sale properties (including BPO services), first time buyers, second/vacation homes and investment properties from 1 - 4 units.
