I've lived in Independence all my life. So it makes since that I specialize in an area I know so well. The reason I like Independence is there is so much difference. From one street to the next! And even person to person. If you want it, I bet it's here. Here you can live in the city, and still feel like your in the country.
I have only been in real estate for a little over a year. But I have already learned so much! I know everyone thinks it's a bad market, and not the best time to become a realtor. But the way I see it is consumers need professionals now more than ever. Things change everyday (especially in financing)! And despite everything I feel like home ownership is still the best long term investment for anyone. I also think helping people stay out of foreclosure is top priority. My page on my space has phone numbers and web sites in my blogs that can help.
I would also like to mention how much I love being associated with The Prudential Gaslight Realtors! My brokers Stan and Wayne are always there for me and my clients. Even the other agents will go out of there way to help. I knew from the first interview Prudential was the best place for me and my clients!

Hi Brian,
You should be able to get on Realtor.com and search for agents in your area. - Sun Jun 15 2008, 10:26
I agree with all the other realtors answers. And I would like to encourage you to sit down with professionals and take a look at your finances. Even if it turns out your not in a strong buying position now, they can advise you where to go from here. I have customers that are waiting 6 months or better to buy. But knowing their positioning makes the goal of homeownership that much more obtainable. Good Luck! - Thu Jun 12 2008, 09:28
HI Jenny, I happen to have a realtor friend close to you. He's with Missouri Lakes Realty, and his name is Matt Krum. I think he's closer to Warsaw, but he should be able to help. His email is matt@mattkrum.com Good Luck, Angela - Wed Dec 19 2007, 12:26
I sold a vaccant lot North of Truman, East of River this summer. I listed it for $18,000. It sold two and a half months later for $12,500. It was off the square in the older part of town. One things for sure! It's not going to sell without a for sale sign! Best of luck to you, Bobbie! ;) Angela - Fri Dec 7 2007, 13:44
