"Our 3rd property with Brian and what else can we say. Working with him is great; he kept us grounded especially when we’ve dealt with difficult Buyers/Sellers. He goes above and beyond by coordinating directly with our lender and contractors."

"We had a wonderful experience with Brian. He gave us good advice on selling our house. The sale went through quickly despite a weak housing market at the time. He was very responsive and attentive to all of our needs. Thank you Brian!"

"We appreciate everything you did to sell our house. From the marketing, to the handling of the contract negotiations, to dealing with the myriad of homeowners and community association demands, to finalizing the sale, you walked us through confidently. This stressful time was made more comfortable by your constant support and contact. Your sense of duty towards us and your other clients is evident. Upon going through what we believed to be a potential catastrophe to renovations to our house, we called you, forgetting you were on vacation, 1000 miles away. Despite this, you returned our message within 5 minutes, putting us at ease once again. This kind of customer service is rare and admirable…Your knowledge of real estate issues is impressive and your sense of duty to your clients is commendable"

"Brian was always very enthusiastic, accommodating and patient during the whole process. We faced a tough buyer's market but Brian made it a very pleasant experience for us. He patiently showed a lot of properties and always kept our interest at the forefront. He was very active in finding properties new to the market. On most occasions we could see the property the same day it came to the market thus giving us an edge over other buyers. Brian's warm and friendly attitude helped us to express our concerns to him very freely. There was never a time when Brian didn't return our call within a few minutes whether it be during daytime or at night…He is the best real estate agent we have ever come across."

It is perceived as a buyer's market....which means it is a great time to buy. Prices have become more favorable and interest rates are still relatively low. Laurel is located between Baltimore and DC so it has 2 strong economies to grow with. Also, keep in mind there are 3 parts of Laurel. From most expensive to least expensive there is Howard County Laurel, Anne Arundel Laurel (generally known as Russett) and Prince George's Laurel.
I have a condo listed for sale in Laurel right now. www.RussettCondo.com - Mon Aug 18 2008, 08:42
Without a doubt, 110% confident, do it before you list the home!!!! First impressions are the most important thing. Buyers have problems picturing what they can't see. - Fri Aug 15 2008, 13:02
Yes, small bedrooms and size of home can effect you when reselling. We just had a client looking at the same community and when they looked at the resale market, they did NOT buy the Ryan. They bought a resale in Dorsey Hall and save about $50,000 in price. Ryan builds a pretty basic home and can be expensive when you start adding up the options. Plus, many of the homes are on awful lots.
Make sure you do your research and find out what other homes are available. Make sure you are using an expert Real Estate agent. - Sun Aug 3 2008, 11:05
If you get a very good price, then it would be okay to buy it. How do you know if you are getting a good price? You need to compare it to what else is on the market. Have you gone thru resales and other new construction with a trusted real estate expert? If so, they will be able to give you the advice on what is a good buy.
Overall, always keep in mind, location, location, location. So, yes being on a road and across from a trailer park is going to hurt your future resale value.
If I can show you what other choices you have, let me now. - Sun Aug 3 2008, 09:49
A real estate agent can print out all the sales in the last year in your neighborhood. If you want to send me your neighborhood name, I will send you all the sold listings in the MLS, in your neighborhood, with listing agents names, since July 30, 2007. - Wed Jul 30 2008, 16:10
