How important is Curb Appeal?

Kimo Stowell answered:
Aloha Marika,

I think it's best to think of curb appeal as the "cover of the book" which is your property for sale. Although the old saying that its best not to judge a book buy it's cover rings true, many people do just that and will avoid properties that show poorly from the curb. The thought process is if it looks bad on the outside there is probably more ugliness on the inside. The yard is usually the very first impression potential buyers have of a property and should never be overlooked for it's marketing potential. - Mon Oct 19 2009, 15:37
