I would not claim to have the perfect answer but here is how my brokerage and myself handle this. There is no discount because they implies that I am willing to lessen my value to the client and do the same amount of work for less money. Instead I allow my clients to (Do It Yourself) DIY which lessens the amount of work I have to do. So they can lessen their payout to me as a Realtor by doing things on their own and paying me for the work I will do. So I get paid for the work I provide and not be considered a discount agent or someone that compromises their personal value. - Tue Sep 1 2009, 13:52
