Ellen Keak answered:
Hi Lauren, Holmdel is a very diverse town with many townhouses and homes in the $350,000- $800,000 range to homes over 7000 sq. ft. on more than 2 acres that are more than $2,000,000. Overall the town has a strong sense of community with annual activities such as the "Bayonet Farm Arts & Musical Festival","Holmdel Day" and many other activities through the Holmdel Parks & Recreation Department. I would suggest working with a Realtor to become familiar with neighborhoods in your price range and then return to the ones you like, visiting them on the weekends, talking to homeowners to get a feel if it might be the right place for you. I would also suggest visiting the Holmdel website: http://www.Holmdeltownship-nj.com to get a feel for the town. - Tue Nov 10 2009, 06:11
