"I want to take a brief moment to let you know how absolutely
thrilled I was throughout my entire home selection process.
Being a first time homebuyer, there was no way I could have
done this without you as my realtor. Along the way, your
patience, diligence, openness, honesty, candidness,
partnership, and most of all your friendship kept my sanity
and made this experience a positive one for me. Being in
the industry I thought prepared me for what was going to
happen, but it really didn't, it's so different when
it's your own transaction. Having you guide me through this
process was huge. We make a great TEAM!! I want to thank
you and your wife Joy for making this a wonderful and
memorable experience. I know I've gained an amazing
friendship through the purchase of my very first home. Jim,
thank you for all you've done for me. You are truly the best in
the business. I love my new home.
Sincerely,
T. Diaz"

"Special thanks to Jim Frey and Maggy Welker of Windermere for assisting me on the sale as well as purchase of my new home. They provided excellent recommendations on how to prep my house prior to placing it on the market. They did comparative studies on the asking price of those homes listed within our neighborhood to give us a realistic approach on what to ask for our house. We were very satisfied with the asking price as well as their continual support on the sale of our house. Guess what---within 2 weeks, we had a buyer for our house. Since time now became a factor, they worked feverishly in assisting us in locating our “dream” house. After countless number of hours, we finally found our new home. They amazingly put the paperwork together and before we knew it, the paperwork was processed, closed, and we were moving into our new home within 30 days. To my friends at Windermere, Jim and Maggy, “kudos” to the both of you.

"My wife and I are a young family with a beautiful 5 year old
daughter. We started looking around areas that we thought
we might want to live in by just driving around. On one very
rainy day we stumbled into an open house. There we met
Jim Frey. It is funny how such a random act can turn into
something life changing. Jim became a life-line into the
world of information that comes with attempting to buy a
home. As first time home buyers, Jim provided us with all
the different options available to us. After meeting with Jim a
couple of times it was evident that he was looking out for my
family and our best interests. I can distinctly remember
telling Jim that I would never lose his number, and I never
will. After deciding on a home the negotiations went
extremely smooth and Jim's experience with people and
homes really benefited us during this process. Since our
home purchase, I consider Jim and Joy friends, genuine
people who I will never hesitate to call on for advice or a BBQ dinner at our new home.
Thank You,
Tony, Allison & Grayson"

Being a first time home buyer, are you considering the location? or Arbor? or price? condo? These are all important questions to answer....next logical one is - "are you pre-approved" yet? Before going into any negotiation with "builders" (or sellers for that matter), you best be pre-approved for a mortgage! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.....there are other areas close to this one that are appealing. - Thu Apr 3 2008, 19:01

Wow - great question! Bend has GROWN UP recently. About 3 hrs from portland, real estate has sky rocketed, traffic is an issue. BUT, the upside - it is gorgeous.....totally outdoor activities year round! In terms of smooth transition for entertainment -NO! Really, how can you compare SF for entertainment to either Portland and/or Bend.....Dont's get me wrong, Portland has nice SF is the bomb....... - Sun May 27 2007, 08:35
