Hello!! I am Laurie Pizzo, originally from Chicago Illinois and have lived in Hernando County for over 21 years. I am married to my best friend John. We Hello!! I am Laurie Pizzo, originally from Chicago Illinois and have lived in Hernando County for over 21 years. I am married to my best friend John. We have three wonderful furry felines - Pepper, Molly and Simba. We love to travel, canoe, bike and have a budding butterfly garden.
I am very active in the community including serving on the REALTORS Political Involvement Committee for the Florida Association of REALTORS and the Government Affairs Committees for both the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce and the Hernando County Association of REALTORS. I am an appointed member of the Business and Economic Development Committee for the Hernando County Board of County Commission.
My community involvement also includes The American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - Partner's in Hope Ball, Community Advisory Council for HCA Oak Hill Hospital and Helping Hands at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. I was appointed by Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum to serve as Commissioner to the Florida Commission on the Status of Women.
My professional associations include the National Association of REALTORS, the Florida Association of REALTORS, the Hernando County Association of REALTORS, and the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce.
I have been in sales and marketing for all of my adult life and when it comes to real estate, I truly have a passion for helping find what my clients are looking for. Prior to general real estate with Century 21 Alliance Realty, I sold homes for one of the largest builders in the United States...Lennar/US Homes. I was able to transform my knowledge from the new home sales into the general home sales quite successfully and since entering this field has been a Multi-Million Dollar Producer and also achieved the coveted Ruby level in the CENTURY21® Masters Program.
