Happy Thanksgiving.
The main problem here seems to be perception versus reality. As you say, you thought there were bigger bargains here than you are actually finding. Remember the adage, if it sounds too good to be true, then it is. (Too bad millions of americans didn't heed that in 2004 and 2005.)
Charles, the market is what it is. I for one hope that you can NOT find an outstanding single family home for under $100,000 in Hunter's Creek. I live here, own properties here, and prices have gone down more than enough.
You'll note that a number of other reponses are are little more than adds that say, hi look at me I can help. I doubt that's what you were looking to hear. An honest answer is that what you want does not exist. If such a property were to come on the market it would be gone in a day.
