Yes I do feel this is a great site to Q & A. Getting input from other Real Estate Professionals is what makes our industry so great. Her in Michigan it takes much longer. We have demeption period for the owner of 6 months. After the 6 month period who knows how long the bank will take to get it listed. Some homes here have sat for 12-18 months before being listed. Best thing to do is try to sell during redemption period. - Sun Nov 18 2007, 07:01

6-7% would be accurate. Keep in mind as a buyer or seller you get what you pay for. Lowere commissions mean less marketing and a lesser chance of getting your home sold. We all rely on other Realtors to help sell our properties. If we have nothing to offer the buyers agent we will get nothing in return. - Sun Nov 18 2007, 06:56

Why lose the deal arguing over where you close. There are tons of great title companies out there. Realtors should go with the flow and just do what is best for your buyer or seller. CLOSE THE DEAL!! - Tue Nov 13 2007, 20:01
