Agent at Long & Foster
Kim Mills answered:
In most cases it takes longer than 60 days for a response back. Your agent maybe able to inquire as to where they are in the process...does the seller have all the paperwork the bank requires together ready to submit, is there a 3rd party handling the short sale, etc. It would be nice if they moved a little faster because many buyers want to take advantage of the tax credits but as Richard said banks are on their own time frame. Good luck to you. - Thu Dec 17 2009, 06:49
