About Me
Choosing a real estate agent who has the tools, skills and experience to make your dreams come true can be as challenging as the home buying/selling process itself.

As a Realtor, I think it is extremely important that you know exactly what you can expect from me. As such, I will provide you with a list of services I offer. Because each buyer and seller is different, I will discuss each service with you to determine which ones are appropriate for your situation. From there I can develop a marketing plan that is customized to fit your needs.

I am so sure that you will be satisfied with what I do that I even offer a guarantee. If I have not provided the agreed upon services, or if you are not satisfied with my services for any reason, just let me know. If I can't remedy the situation to your satisfaction within 24 hours, you can cancel your representation agreement with me. Simple as that.

I would love the opportunity to represent your interests and help you achieve your real estate goals!

I know it's hard, but try to be patient with the other (buyer's) side and the lenders. I've noticed that the lenders are being extremely picky about having every single document imaginable. It's especially time-consuming if a buyer is self-employed. The fact that the lenders are still asking for more things doesn't mean a buyer will or won't qualify; it just means they need to prove the buyers' income, assets, and debts to make that final approved/denied determination. Some lenders are also pickier than others. Again, when it comes to getting financing these days, patience is your best asset. Good luck!! - Tue Apr 22 2008, 13:41

Georgetown was ranked by Frommer's as the #1 place to retire. I moved here from Tucson (another retirement friendly city), and I highly recommend Georgetown. If you want to live in an age restricted (55+) community, we have: Sun City, Heritage Oaks, Texas Traditions, and more. There are also some great condo choices that aren't age restricted but keep your home maintenance responsibilities to a minimum: Oaks at Wildwood & Village Park Condominiums. There's a great downtown square, local live theatre, a lake, golf courses, lots of parks, and we're only about 30-45 minutes from Austin which has great museums, theatre, and live music.
Good luck & please let me know if I can help you in your search.
Best regards,
Kimberly

The amount or rate of real estate commissions is not fixed by law (it would violate federal antitrust laws protecting the consumer). They are set by each broker individually and may be negotiable between the seller (or buyer) and the broker. The second quote may come from the Wall Street Journal (see article) http://www.realestatejournal.com/buysell/markettrends/200611… but I am personally unaware of any statistics that show this. - Thu Jan 31 2008, 11:53
