Having lived for most of my life in 3 cities in Central Kentucky, I love this area and know it well! Currently a Frankfort resident, I am proud to call this beautiful city home! After teaching Special Education here for 14 years I have turned my love of working with families and helping others into a successful real estate career. Now as an ABR (Accreditied Buyer Representative) I specialize in helping others find their dream home. Whether you are ready to buy, have to sell first or just need some information, please let me know and I'll do my best to help you!

My MLS (Multiple Listing Service) doesn't have information on your city. The easiest way would probably be to call a local realtor and ask them to find out. Your pva office might have the information also if it sold and the new deed has been recorded. Good Luck! - Wed Jul 16 2008, 05:05
I am not familiar enough with Trulia to know how to do it on here, sorry. Maybe type in the city where you are at the top right corner, then look at stats and trends. Do you have access to LBAR or Louisville's MLS? Without knowing where you are or where the property is, can't figure out how to help you. - Thu Jul 10 2008, 11:31
The property transfer date and sale price won't be public record until after the closing. If you are interested in finding a similiar property, please let me know and I can look and email you some.

Try this site:
http://www.hud.gov/homes/homesforsale.cfm It has links to different places where you can find foreclosed homes. Here in Frankfort, properties about to be auctioned on the courthouse steps are put in the newspaper, also posted in the courthouse. It would also be good to consult a Realtor in your area. Buying a foreclosure is not always as easy & inexpensive as people seem to think and an experienced Realtor could guide you through the process.

Here are some websites that might help:
www.rentals.com/Kentucky/Lexington/
LBAR.com (then click on rentals)
www.discoverourtown.com/KY/Lexington/Relocation-242.html
www.rentalinfocenter.com
There are great neighborhoods all over Lexington and a lot to choose from! If those sites don't give you the information you need, please let me know and I'll try again! I live in Frankfort now but grew up in Lexington so would be happy to show you around when you get here. Georgetown is a great city too if you would consider living there. Welcome to Kentucky! - Tue May 27 2008, 17:17
Other than helping people buy and sell homes, I love to: work in my garden, play with my 3 dogs (Dusty, Bandit & Brindle), ride motorcycles, go to the beach, "ebaying", finding "treasures" with my metal detector
