Dawn - its me again! Both schools are great, but they each have unique offerings as well. Based on your childrens' interests, one school might provide a broader range of what they are looking for over the other. My suggestion would be to contact each principal and discuss what you are looking for and what their schools have to offer in the way of college prep curriculum, etc. They are currently at the schools 4 days a week during summer break. If you are going to be in the area any time soon, I could arrange school tours of both HS for you - you could then see each complex first hand and talk with each principal one on one.

Hi Dawn! Nation Ford High School just completed its first year and the VERY FIRST Senior Class for Nation Ford will graduate next year. The community decided not to divide up this years Senior Class since they had all been going to school together for the past 3 years so Nation Ford didn't have a senior class this year.

Beverley Bowman is the principal over at Nation Ford HS and she runs a great and well disciplined school. The Nation Ford HS school website is http://nfhs.fort-mill.k12.sc.us/home.aspx.

The other HS in Fort Mill is Fort Mill HS and both are fantastic schools. My oldest son will be attending Nation Ford HS in the next school year.

Hi Steve - Tega Cay has it all! There is a great diversity from empty nesters to newly-weds and everything in between. Tega Cay is in the Fort Mill School district and the district is strongly supported by the parents and the community. Tega Cay has great amenities and recreational sports leagues for youth while having Lake Access, Golf, Tennis and more! Fort Mill is also strong in amenities and recreational attractions for children and adults. Since the two towns are so close together, you get the best of both worlds!
