I recently attended the Howard Brinton Star Power conference in Denver, CO. On the general session for Saturday morning, Howard had an INCREDIBLE panel.
-the CEO for Prudential
-the CEO for Coldwell Banker
-Gary Keller
-Allan Domb, an agent that sold 750 sides last year in Philly
Keep in mind Star Power is a Realtor conference with no ties to any specific real estate company, so the audience was composed of people working with every major franchise in the country. When the first speaker was announced, there was polite applause. He came out and took his seat. When the second speaker was announced, there was polite applause. He came out and took his seat. When Gary Keller was announced, scattered throughout the audience you saw Keller Williams agents jumping to their feet to give him a standing ovation the minute he walked on stage. Yes, every office is different. That being said there is also a difference in the business model and mentality of each of the larger companies.
You are starting at a time when real estate is getting a bad rap in the media. A good agent will have a successful career in ANY company. That being said, you will be hard pressed to find one better than KW. If you can afford the trip, I highly recommend going to Family Reunion next year in New Orleans.
Best of luck.
