I am looking for an apartment or single wide mobile

Hi Terri! I am told that C-21 Regency in Enterprise is a great place for rental information around the Enterprise area. If they decide to live closer to Dothan because there is a Troy-Dothan campus in town, then I would check with D.Ream Properties in Dothan. Just call their office number between 8 and 5 at: 334-792-7474. I am sorry that I don't have the Regency # off hand, but our office will be able to give that to you also.
Good luck with your search! If you are looking to buy something, I am an an accredited Buyer's agent and will be happy to help you out. 334-618-0730. - Wed Mar 26 2008, 19:31

Our real estate taxes are lower compared to a lot of other areas in the country. A lot of this is also going to depend on your homestead expemtions. This is for your main property that you are living in and is based on a number of factors. I am seeing buyers moving into our area to save money on their taxes more than ever. As far as home owner's insurance, this shouldn't be hard to get if you have a homethat is not in a flood area, you are buying a home that is nota hazard and you haven't had past problems. Your local realtor should be able to recommend a couple of good insurance agents and they will be able to give you an estimate of what the taxes were for the previous year if it is in the tax records.
You should be able to see what the taxes from the previous year is on some of the listing sites.
I hope this helps! - Wed Mar 26 2008, 19:24

Dear Fatima,
The first thing to find ou is wether or not your fried of a friend is a Buyer's Agent and if they have that in your area or not. A good buyer's agent is required to follow your instructions and act in your best interest. Each market is different and each agent works differently. In our market we can call the other agent t work out a verbal offer sometimes to see if they are open to a lower offer. A good Listing agent though, will ask for offers to be put in writing to present to their clients. A listing agent in our market is REQUIRED to present all offers in writing to the Seller, so it may be in your best interest to put your lower offer in writing in order for the Listing agent to be REQUIRED to present your offer.
If you are not comfortable with your Realtor and don't trust what she is saying to you, it may be time to communicate that to her and see if you can either work it out, or find another realtor who you are more comfortable communicating these concerns with. - Wed Mar 26 2008, 19:13
