Hi Jennifer,
You're going to love Evergreen. I just helped another buyer with their home purchase in Evergreen and so am very familiar with the market. As in other parts of the Denver metro area, sellers in Evergreen have to be very realistic about their price. When their home is priced right for this market, it can sell in a matter of days. When they set their sights too high, the home languishes on the market. No idea what you'll be looking for, but for around $375,000 to $400,000, you should expect a very nice 3-bdrm/2-bath home, likely with a view, not a lot of acreage (maybe up to 3 acres), built in the 1980s or thereabouts. Feel free to e-mail me at chris@metfinehomes.com if you have other questions, and best of luck with your move!
