I've been helping folks buy and sell homes in Dallas, Texas for more than 20 years.

I was born in Kentucky, but I got to Texas just as soon as I could. That is, right out of college.

I hold a Master of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville.

I had a rewarding career designing mobile drilling rigs before I was reassigned to the marketing department. I was renovating a 1923 Tudor Cottage in the M-Streets at the same time. Somehow the experience of rubbing shoulders with salesmen while growing more and more excited about the M-Streets coalesced into a decision to become a REALTOR®.

I guess some people become real estate agents because they are salesmen at heart. But in my case, the motivation to become a REALTOR® was motivated more by love for a particular neighborhood than love for selling. I think of myself more as a consultant than a salesman. I think that approach is more in tune with the way people buy and sell homes in the 21st Century.
