Wow @ Nicholas.
I've been reading your post for a while and often disagree with you (of course, it's usually things that are more "point of view" positions on this topic) but I must say you are dead on with this one. I could not have said it better. This is not a thing of "opinion" or "point of view". This is a thing of clear facts and the intelligence to understand them and the willingness to accept them. I can't add nothing to it because you've basically said it, but its amazing how some of us still refuse to see that THAT whole system was a big Ponzi scheme from its inception that produced nothing but gigantic profits for a few with no means (and I believe no intentions) to pay dividends to anyone except THAT FEW!
As you've accurately pointed out, THEY CAN'T PAY OFF THE DEBT (including what is owed to the many investors) IF THEY WANTED TO! The actual number (dollar amount) is inconceivable! I don't think people really understand the totality of this situation. Basically, every dollar that came in was divided between those Executives in the form of "bonuses" and the shareholders were getting shafted the whole time. I had this debate the other day with some of my associates.
Hey, can I copy and email your response to them? Maybe I didn't word it right or something. lol. Because I can't get through to them. - Mon Mar 23 2009, 14:53
