1st - You DO NEED another Real Estate Agent or REALTOR involved to protect YOU! Don't EVER assume the Seller/Agent is going to look after your interests. You have a right to get your own representation!

You need someone to pull comparables to make sure you are getting the best price on that property so that you aren't being bilked out of hundreds or thousands of dollars. PLEASE call a REALTOR to represent you!! - Mon Jun 23 2008, 18:48

One BIG question is - Have you ever used your VA allotment before, if so have you paid it off?

I agree with Cassandra - there are many lenders who will tell you different things. I know one with a Broker in Covington, GA who knows about VA because he closed a VA loan for one of my clients. I don't know if you ever found the Lender you were looking for, but here's a good one in the Covington, GA area: Ameritage Financial Services - Paul Griggs, Loan Officer (yes he's my husband and he's one of the best - I send my clients to speak to him along with 2 other loan officers at different companies) 678-654-3760 Their website is http://www.ameritagefinancialservices.com

The original list date was November 16, 2007 - withdrawn on April 16, 2008. Re-listed as a foreclosure and is now under contract - off market 5/16/2008 with a projected close date of June 30, 2008.
