"This was my first time purchasing a home. I was very nervous about buying a home all by myself and New Colony Realtors' professionalism and broad knowledge base definitely helped to ease my concerns. My realtor was extremely knowledgeable in not only real estate but the financing that goes along with buying a home. Before even venturing out to look at prospective homes, my realtor took the time to explain to me what financing was all about and the options that are available; his guidance was excellent. He truly listened to exactly what I was looking for as well as remained conscious of the price range I could afford; he went above and beyond. Most importantly, my realtor was friendly, honest and patient!!"

"Let me start by thanking the management of Weichert Realtors - New Colony for the unparallel customer service and useful advises. Right from day one of my search for property via the internet to the closing date, Michael McKenna and his team have been fantastic. They never got tired through out my period of searching and they ensured I got one of the best properties in my chosen location.
On behalf of myself, my wife and family, I say Thank you and keep it up!"

"When Michael helped us buy our first house 3 years ago, his honesty and patience won us over. We're ready to move again, and it went without saying that we would work with Mike again. He's so great to work with that sometimes we forget he's our agent - he seems more like a friend; a friend who knows all about real estate."

Talking with the builder is great for fact finding and digging around for information. In most cases, as you may have heard before, you really want to have representation when negotiating real estate deals. The builder is trying to protect their interest, who is protecting yours? - Sat Aug 16 2008, 08:04

Cary, this is a great question! While the rental market is better that years past (my opinion) you will first want to consult with your mortgage banker; most banks are no longer accepting a simple lease as proof of having a tenant. Banks are now asking to speak with tenants in some cases. Also note, you will only receive about 75% credit of rent collected which directly affects your buying power.
