Yes, unfortunately, ‘painful’ and ‘stressful’ are probably the words I would use to describe my selling experience, but that’s no reflection on the two of you. I feel like you and Lori did all you could for us in a very bad housing environment. We appreciate the time and effort you put into it the sale of our house (the multiple open houses, newspaper ad, etc) and the advice you gave. I wish I had listened to Jim from the beginning regarding the pricing (our original price was much too high for this market) but I think we eventually got in front of the market (on it’s way down, unfortunately). I know that you and Lori felt our pain, and understood what we were going through, and we appreciated that. We would not hesitate to recommend yourself and Lori to anyone.

"Hello Jim,
This thank you is long overdue. I wanted to let you know that it was pure luck that let Mom and I meet you the day we looked at the villa you had listed. You were gracious and very low key and we were immediately very comfortable with you. That same day you showed us two other villas (not yours) and remained neutral while we made our own assessments regarding any comparable features.
As we changed gears and decided to look at houses too, you assisted by giving the Listing Book access to me so that I could search in the evenings online since I was so limited as far as time that I could commit to searching.
The evening that we finally saw the villa we ultimately would buy you worked until after dark, then waited at the last house so that I could bring my son Jordan to look at it. After all that, we changed our minds again and decided to move forward with the villa.
Again, this was not your listing, the other agents were out of town, but you persevered so that there was never any down time. After all of the confusion with Associations, interviews, management company woes, title company vacations, and finally the out of town dealings with the mortgage broker, somehow we managed to pull off a closing on August 20th. Even that was a nail biter with me running into the bank with exactly 3 minutes to spare to get the cashiers check.
In the end, we got our new home. I don't think there could be another person who would have handled the chaos with as much calm as you. Your experience showed and we will be forever grateful to you for helping us make this happen.

I listed my business with Jim Moran after he finished lunch at my sandwich shop. He stopped in for a sandwich and I spoke with him about real estate in general, found him knowledgeable and approachable and told him I was considering selling the business. Thank you for all of your efforts to locate a house for me in an area that was as unfamiliar to you as it was to me. But after months of searching and touring of homes in Old Northeast and Snell Isle, you have become an expert in those areas. The task was not easy to find the home I wanted, a moderately priced, renovated historical home in a very popular area, but you found many houses that fit that description. When I finally decided on a house, the fun began! The contract required an initial offer and counteroffers, along with few amendments as we encountered issues with the inspection and required repairs to the house. The transaction went very smoothly, especially since the repairs were ongoing up to the date of closing. You took care of all the issues without incident.
