I am an Accredited Buyers Rep and a member of the Real Estate Buyers Association Council. I work with my husband Bob who is also a Realtor in the Chester County and Delaware County areas .As a Buyers Rep I have been specially trained in negotiating and this also puts me in a position to better handle negotiations for my sellers. As with most things until you've had some time to get to know someone it's hard to make a decision on who would best represent you. Bob and I would love to just meet and talk with you about your Real Estate needs and see if we are the right agents to help you realize your goals. To schedule an appointment to meet with us or if you just have a few questions please call us at 610-620-3007 anytime between 8 am and 9 pm 7 days a week. Or you can leave a message at 610-647-5600 and we will return your call promptly.
"I have had the pleasure of working with Deb Haley in the sale of our home, the sale of my mother-in-law’s home, and the purchase of a new home for my family. I would not hesitate to recommend Deb to anyone who is buying or selling a home in Chester County and surrounding areas.
As the owner of a high-end environmental consulting firm, I have had significant opportunities to observe the work habits and moral character of a wide variety of professionals in the real estate and legal professions. It is against this backdrop that I am offering my perspective of Deb’s abilities and character. During the sale and purchase of homes, Deb has demonstrated a strong personal sense of integrity and sensitivity to our family’s needs. I have an office in my home, which contains documents of an extremely confidential nature, and I have completely trusted that Deb would show our home with total respect for the required confidentiality. She has demonstrated sensitivity to our various needs, including my aged mother-in-law, our teenagers, and the demands of my business.Deb has exhibited the utmost professionalism, sometimes working long into the evening or early in the morning to meet the rigorous demands of our real estate transactions. She has always been pleasant and has taken as much time as needed to explain details of the transaction.Deb has proven to be reliable, dependable, and extremely capable. She sold our home at a higher price than we anticipated in less than a week, while other homes in our neighborhood have taken months to sell in the current real estate market. She helped negotiate a significant discount in the home we purchased. In short, Deb gets results!
It has been a pleasure working with Deb, and I would not hesitate to recommend her.

One of my life's greatest pleasures is to share with others about people who make a difference in my world. As a single parent with three children, I have always taught my children to always ask for help from people that are trustworthy and honest. This is who I am writing to you about, Deborah Haley.
About a year ago I had a dream of owning a large house, trees, land, and convenient to my daughter's school to take some of the burden from my shoulders. Six months later, Deborah showed me a spec sheet regarding a house right across the school, similar to the one on my dream board. I shook my head in wonderment saying it's just what I would want but, me, how in the world could it happen. Deborah invited me to see it. The minute I walked in, I knew this house was it. But the "how" was like a neon sign in front of my face. Immediately, Deborah went to work. Always being available to me for questions yet never pushy. Always doing what she said she was going to do. Always being positive and respectful of my opinion and finances. Even to the last minute of the closing she was using her knowledge, people skills, and networking ability to do her "job" of giving her client the best personal service. I put job in quotes because in getting to know Deborah, I knew she is a real estate agent because she cares to serve people and their dreams. She assists in the process of either the seller or buyer to achieve their dream beyond words. Because of the heart Deborah has for each client, myself in this case, I was able to view the house, make an offer and close within 30 days. Was that important to me? Of course, a single Mom has no time to loose. I had a job of giving a few dreams to my children too.

When I first spoke with Debbie, I was pleased with how straight forward and honest she was. Not only was she professional, you knew she cared about you as a person not just a paycheck. Now that is rare to find in a salesperson. If there was a problem with the new house, she was there. What realtor would come out on a Sunday night with an inspector because you found mold. My husband and I where extremely pleased with her above and beyond attitude. There are so many things Debbie has done, I just can't list them all. I have referred Debbie on many occasions and I will keep doing so. When we are ready to upgrade, you know whom we are calling."

I tend to agree with J R up to a point. I don't think it would hurt to intreview other agents and find out what they would offer in terms of marketing. If your agent is already doing everything they would do then there would be no sense to switching. If however there are things those agents would do and services they would provide that you think are essential then ask your current agent to provide them. If he/she can't or wont they you need to check your contract and see how and when you can legally change agents.
It's a tough market out there now and as agents we spend a lot of time and money (our own I might add) to get a listing sold. If we're doing everything possible and it's still not selling then I would hope the sellers would be fair in making a decision to switch. Good luck. - Mon Jul 14 2008, 10:41
Amy I recommend you get an agent to sell your home....it will sell faster and believe it or not you will make more even after paying commission......check the stats on this..........in this market you need realtors connections and advertising to sell............good luck.. - Mon Jun 30 2008, 11:33
Monica Hersheys Mill in Chester County is just lovely............I plan on moving there myself when kids are grown............beautiful grounds, championship golf course, tennis, pool, walking trails, security gate,,,,,,located in East Goshen township ..........we live close and make it to Philly in 30 -40 minutes depending on traffic...........the downside would be there are a lot of units in there is you were trying to stay small.........but it is layed out very nicely so it doesn't feel crowded.........to me feels like a golf resort vacation type place . I have sold several in there and my clients are very happy with the living environment amenities and activities there.....it is truely and ACTIVE adult community.......let me know if I can be of help.....Debbie

I completely agree with JR.......responsible and respectable agents don't interfere with agency agreements......for the same reason when your house is already listed another agent wont try and solicit the listing away from them.......it is unethical and against the law.........I was wonderng when you say you found the home you want yourself what you meant.........if your agent showed you the home he is procuring cause and you need to stick with him......have a chat and get your expectations on the table so that from here on out he knows how to meet them........if he hasn't show youthe house and you can not come to a meeting of the minds you can ask him to release you from the contract in writing......most agents will accept this if they are not performing to your satisfaction.........as to what you can expect............If he was found to be procuring cause and you used another agent for the sale you may have to pay him 3% commission out of your own pocket........so be careful............try and be fair.............you can always talk to his manager and see if that would help.............good luck - Sun Jun 29 2008, 12:30
