You can check with the local law enforcement to get the stats for this area. As far as I have heard it is a good area to live, but you always want to do extensive research before relocating your child there. I am part of the largest relocation company in the United States and can assist you with finding a qualified REALTOR in that area to assist you at no charge to you. I would suggest that you use a REALTOR that is part of the largest relocation company in the United States. As part of this relocation team you are required to have a background check, extensive classroom hours and many other requirements and that is before you are accepted to be on this team. There are thousands of agents all over the United States that are part of this program. As a Broker Associate with the relocation department I work directly to find you an agent in the area that you are relocating to. Let me help you! Jesse, I don't think that you will have a hard time getting a loan as long as you have your ducks in a row. You need the advice of a loan officer. I would suggest shopping rates, too. Bank of America seems to be very competitive and offer several programs that will even pay your closing costs. I would suggest to use a REALTOR. Remember that a BUYER'S AGENT doesn't cost the buyer anything. The commission is paid by the Seller. Why wouldn't you want to be represented. I just met a couple that moved here to this area three years ago and bought a home from the owner. They didn't know to have an inspection, termite report, etc. Guess what, three years later they are moving, the home was already taken over by termites when they bought it and now they have spent $5000.00 out of pocket for repairs. With the way the market is they will be lucky to recoupe that expense when they finally get to list the property for sale. Use a REALTOR. I lived in the Florida Panhandle for the first three years of my husband's navy career and I loved it. I love to visit to this day. It is laid back and nice scenery. We will retire there someday. We are on our twilight tour now. Debra Barker, Broker Associate, Century 21 Properties Plus, Inc. - Wed May 21 2008, 10:57

Any activity that involves water is my main interest. I love to PLAY golf. I love to PLAY on the water. I think that life is short and you should enjoy it while you are able.
