I've been involved in real estate for my whole life. My father was a builder and developer and my earliest memories are of riding around "the job" in his jeep and looking at blueprints of the next project. During summers while in college I worked for him selling lots and houses. I moved to Chapel Hill in 1980 and built homes for 12 years before moving on into sales and marketing of new homes. During this time I also designed and sold over 200 furniture packages for resort homes. These experiences really help me with merchandising my listings and also help me educate buyers about the market and what to expect when buying a home. In 1999 I decided to incorporate general brokerage into my business and have now been a broker with Coldwell Banker HPW , a full service real estate company, for 10 years. My three children grew up in Chapel Hill and attended Chapel Hill/Carrboro City Schools and North Carolina universities. My husband, Chip Wright is a commercial contractor, broker, developer and artist.
When I'm not working, thinking and dreaming about houses I love to cook, garden and go fishing at the coast.
