Your question may be a little too general for me to answer. The " Best " area can have a few different perspectives. As Michael mentioned below one way is to research the school systems first if that is the more important aspect of your decision. If it is Crime statistics then you could also look at that. As someone who works and lives in Cape May County, I have alot of working knowledge of the area. There are very good sections of most of the communities but a few that are more of a year round community with a strong family feel. Tranquility in Cold Spring is a very nice family community , also there are several Cape May Court House neighborhoods that will give you the same thing although not as large.

North Cape May has Mickels run with moderately priced homes in a nice newer development. Dennis Township used to be the besy for a lot of reasons but has balanced out with development in other townships. Price is also a large factor in your decision of course.

I live in Cold Spring just north of the Cape May Canal, and we find if very good for several reasons. Good luck with your search and if I can help please let me know.

That unit does not exist, the real location of the Grand is 9601 Atlantic. I spoke with the sales offic eand they don't know how that listing wound up on the site. The least expensive unit there is a 2 bed 2 bath for 495k. - Sat Jun 20 2009, 10:35

The answer is actually very simple. Trulia does not subscribe or cannot subscribe to any MLS or board data base therefore the listings are loaded from 3rd party websites such as Point 2NLS, #1 Expert, and a host of other realtor paid sites .

The most complete database of properties was always and will most likely remain Realtor.com and all of the other Agency websites . But then again if an agency does not participate in IDX than those won't be out there either. - Thu Jun 11 2009, 11:48

I don't know what you mean by "Disaster" . I went through the building last week and found it quite spectacular for what it is. Aside from my personal feelings about the property it is nearing completion and if you have not seen the units maybe you should.

Some of the upper floor units listed for $625,000 have unbelievable views that put most other properties along the island to shame. The fees seem to be the largest concern from most of the clients I have spoke with . Although there are quite a # of ammenities.

All in all right now there are some good values on the island depending on your budget and flavor.
