Mold in the attic really isn't a big deal, it is quite common and usually is harmless. Of course you will still want it removed professionally and you will also want the cause (usualy insufficient ventilation in attics) determined and takencare of so that the problem doesn't come back. I have experience with two reputable companies and I suggest getting quptes from both. They will be able to give you a free quote and it really shouldn't be too expensive. Both companies do work all over the metro Detroit area, here is their contact information:
