I am a young professional who works for a developer / builder in San Jose CA -95110.
I own property in Reno, Nevada and Campbell, California. I love Campbell and think that the transformation that downtown has engaged in is amazing.
As a professional I am interested in shattering the images and stereotypes that some Californians have of Reno and encourage them to view our projects and the City of Reno's webpage. Reno is less than 1/2 hour to world class skiing and golfing and has over 300 days a year of sunshine. And unlike some ski towns that "us" Bay Area folks know Reno is full of night life and live entertainment.

The most important diligence when purchasing waterfront property is to make sure that it is not in a flood plain as determined by FEMA. If the home is in a flood zone, it should be and typically is disclosed in the purchase agreement.
In Reno, Nevada, Upstream, is waterfront property; not in a flood zone. To be waterfront property and not be in the flood zone the builder has to take special care in design, approval process and construction of the community. Upstream is 1 foot above hundred year flood plain. This means that in the past 100 years there has not been a flood at the location of the property. For buyers this means that they are not required to purchase flood insurance which as Scott mentioned, is very expensive. - Mon Sep 15 2008, 11:41
Hi Brian,
I have had my iphone for almost a year now and love it! The best thing about Apple is their customer service. I know people who have dropped theirs and had it replaced on the spot. They also offer free training if you need it and the help menu online and blogs are great. Additionally, the updates give me confidence in the longevitiy of the product. Prior to my iphone my information was in an array of places - now it is all oganized and easy to access. - Wed Aug 27 2008, 13:23
