Depending on your location, looks like you are in the Richmond District. The market is still very strong. In some areas of the city we are still competing with buyers on properties receiving multiple offers. Especially in the lower price ranges, of course always depending on the location. If you would like more specific answers we can provide you with a market study for the last 3 months showing you prices and length of time it takes for a property to sell! You would most likey like to live in either a Condo or TIC although it may be more like $800K in this market, the ideal location would be the inner or central sunset, price wise! When are you planning on the move? If you like I could send you some market snapshots, or if you like you could check out my website and view the neighborhood movies, to give you an idea on what different neighborhoods are like. You could email me personallly at marjetwolbertus@sbcglobal.net. - Thu Apr 24 2008, 10:58
Hi Rick, My suggestion is to find a smaller boutique type brokerage house, go around and interview different companies. After working for 24 years with RE/MAX in Ontario Canada, I found it a real challenge to make a decision on where to work. Now I am with a small privately owned company that has an outstanding reputation in San Francisco for over 50 years. Love the agents there, they are all wonderful and very helpful. The owner keeps very high standards and so I find our clients already are familiar with the company's reputation which makes it a fun way to work So I recommend a smaller company that has deep roots.
Not sure if I understand your question. What is the difficulty with your second mortgage. Where are u located, I can put you in touch with an excellent financial person if you are near San Francisco. - Fri Feb 1 2008, 20:19
Hi David, It sounds like my own home. Location is very important, like always. In San Francisco you will get your money back if you spend it wisely. If you are interested, I can have a look and give you my personal opinion! - Thu Jan 31 2008, 16:12
