Eric Popp answered:
I'm not really familiar with your area and not sure how far apart the two areas are your talking about. But one big advantage with working with one agent is you only have to explain your goals and reasons for moving to one agent. Once they understand that it's much easier for them to watch both the sale of your home and watch the market for a new house that fits your needs. While making sure you get the price you need, and a timely sale to make the move possible.

One big con on the other hand is if the areas are far apart, one agent might not be familiar with both markets. I would suggest using one agent if they know both areas. But have them refer you to another agent if they don't work much in the other market area. - Thu Jan 29 2009, 17:51
