What are your favorite things about Western Montana?

In short...the great outdoors. I guess it's all abhout what you like to do. I live in Bozeman and love the mix of MSU, downtown, sense of community, and the location to all the fishing, trails, and whatever else you like to do outdoors. - Mon Feb 18 2008, 16:37

Has the market in Bozeman slowed as signficantly as elsewhere?

Slowed is a good word. Days on the Market are definitely increasing, and prices are adjusting. It is easier to see motivation on the seller' faces right now. I have looked at several other larger markets like Phoenix, AZ and Bozeman is not nearly as bad as that. It is a great time to be a buyer, and about time in Bozeman. Take advantage of the great interest rates. For the most part it just depends on what you are looking for. - Mon Feb 18 2008, 16:27

The real answer is thast prices are definitely adjusting. It is certainly easier to see which seller's are motivated, and which are just fishing for out of state buyers. Actually prices are fairly stable in most areas of the market...except lot sales. The fact is that we will definitely are seeing Days on the Market go up.....but what a great time to get in on the good buys at great rates! - Mon Feb 18 2008, 16:22
