Your question creates a little concern on my part.

The concern is that you're asking this question on Trulia and that begs the question as to whether you have someone representing you. If you do, they would (should!) know the answer to that question, as would the escrow professional closing your deal.

..ah, but then we ask: what fees? the regular monthly dues or special assessments?

If you're not using an agent (or a lawyer) then you are at jeopardy of taking on liabilities or missing crucial steps in the buying process that can save you time, heartache & money.

If you're using the MLS documents for NWMLS, then the past-due amounts will be/should be cleared unless you have explicitly stated something to the contrary. - Tue Nov 24 2009, 16:20
